A hands-on workshop introducing the ancient Mithila art form of Madhubani painting, covering its history, traditional techniques, and key motifs.

Immerse yourself in the vibrant world of Madhubani painting, a centuries-old art form originating from Bihar, India. This guided 1-hour workshop covers the cultural history and symbolism behind popular motifs such as Hindu deities, nature, and daily life, while teaching traditional techniques using bamboo pens, brushes, and natural dyes. Open to all skill levels, participants will create and take home their own custom Madhubani artwork.
